Dr. Chinmaya Kumar Swain is currently working as an Assistant Professor of IT Systems and Analytics at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu. Before joining IIM Jammu, he worked as an Associate Professor at IMIT, Cuttack, Govt. of Odisha, and Assistant Professor at SRM University Andhra Pradesh and Assistant Professor at SOA University. Dr. Swain graduated from Utkal University and received Master of Computer Applications from Utkal University, India. He completed his M.Tech degree from IIT Bombay in 2011 from the department of Computer Science and Engineering. He received his Doctoral degree in the area of Cloud Computing from IIT Guwahati. He has authored/co-authored over 30 papers including 11 journal and 19 conference articles. He is a quality focused researcher and his publications are targeted to various top tier International Journals and conferences which include IEEE System Journal, IEEE Access, Computing, Computers, Materials & Continua, Archives of Control Sciences and HPCC. His research interests predominantly revolve around the Scheduling in Cloud/ Fog/ Edge Computing, Natural Language Processing, and applications of Machine learning Techniques for real world problems. Over past 15 years, he has mentored over 30 undergraduate and 12 graduate students at IMIT, SRM University, Siksha `O' Anusandhan University and IIT Guwahati, India.
