EMBA (Blended Mode) Admission Policy 2025
This document summarizes the approach of IIM Jammu to prepare the admission list for its EMBA (Blended Mode) Batch 2025-27. The batch size is likely to be around 90. IIM Jammu reserves the right to modify any part of this document including the various criteria and cut offs mentioned at any time till the actual admission process for the batch is completed.
1. Selection Process
The selection process of IIM Jammu consists of:
- Test Score - CAT/GMAT/GRE score or IIM Jammu Admission Test (IIMJAT) Score
- Academic Profile –Graduation Score/percentage
- Personal Interview
- Preparation of Merit list will be based on CAT/GMAT/GRE/IIMJAT Score, academic profile, gender diversity, and personal interview
- The candidates with CAT/GMAT/GRE score obtained during the past three years may be exempted from the IIMJAT 2025. The past three years would be counted from the last date of the application.
- IIM Jammu will strictly follow the Government of India's Reservation Policy
2. Eligibility
- Work Experience: Candidates should have at least three years of work experience till the last date of application. Experience earned during the study period will not be considered.
- Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree with minimum aggregate marks of 50% for General, 47% for NC - OBC, and 45% for SC/ST/DAP awarded by recognised University/educational institution or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India or alternately should have completed professional programs like CA/CS/ICWA.
2.1 Criteria for Preparing the Merit List
- Criteria for preparing the merit list will be based on the composite score comprising the weightage of CAT/GMAT/GRE/IIMJAT score, the academic profile of graduation, work experience, gender diversity, and personal interview as follows:

2.2 Work Experience **

Only Full-time remunerative experience after graduation must be entered. Part-time/ Project/ Internship/ training/ apprenticeship/ Articleship/ Pre-graduation work experience should not be entered and will not be counted as work experience.
Experience Related Certificates:
1. Work experience Letter and Relieving Letter is required for all the past organizations/companies the applicant has worked with. The certificate must be on the company letterhead with seal and signature of the competent authority.
2. Service certificate is required from the current organization's/company's letterhead & issued by an appropriate competent authority with the seal and signature for those presently working. In case, if a service certificate is not available, please provide the offer letter/Joining letter with a first-month payslip and payslip of the latest two (2) months. Please merge individual files into a single file and upload the same on the website.
3. Salary certificate from the bank is mandatory for candidates who have worked in the unorganized sector. The salary must be transferred from the firm’s bank account to the employee’s bank account.
4. Experience earned without salary, or with cash salary will not be considered.
5. In case the candidate is a proprietor or partner of a firm, the candidate has to provide the document proof such as the income tax for the relevant period and a certificate of registration for doing a business from the municipal corporation or appropriate authorities such as MSME certificate issued by Govt. of India, Udyog Aadhar Registration Certificate, Partnership deed of the firm duly signed by all partners and GST registration certificate.
6. Work-experience data till 31st January 2025 will be considered admission processes.

Offer Acceptance Fee and Withdrawal
After the declaration of the merit list, candidates will be asked to register for the expression of the interest. The candidates who will successfully register in the expression of interest will receive the admission offer as per the vacant seat and his/her order in the merit list. A candidate receiving admission offer from IIM Jammu has to pay an offer acceptance amount of Rs.50,000/- within the stipulate date. If a candidate accepts the admission offer for the program, his/her offer acceptance amount will be adjusted against the term I Fee. If a candidate subsequently wishes to withdraw the offer within the withdrawal date specified by the Institute, amount will be refunded after deducting Rs. 1,000/- as processing charges. If a candidate applies for withdrawal after the date specified by the Institute, no refund will be admissible. In the event of withdrawal from the program after registration, no refund of offer acceptance amount & Term Fee will be made.
Any dispute concerning Admissions for the EMBA Batch 2025 would be subject to jurisdiction of the competent courts within the territorial jurisdiction of city of Jammu Only.
